Risk mitigating solutions
Workers medically or dentally evacuated (medevaced or dentevaced) from offshore installations are required to be met at the heliport by escorts acting on behalf of duty holders.
Due to the itinerant nature of the workforce, the escort function remains critical in mitigating the exposure from a loss to follow-up, should the evacuee fail to attend for a disposal assessment.
